At Lupa Foods, our Royal Warrant represents not only a mark of excellence but also an opportunity to give back to our community. Through the Royal Warrant Holders’ Charity, we have the privilege to nominate local charities for funding that can make a tangible difference.
In 2024, we nominated Herts Young Homeless (hyh) for the Members’ Local Charity Grant Scheme, resulting in a £1,000 grant to support their vital services for vulnerable youth. Encouraged by the impact of this contribution, we submitted a subsequent nomination in 2025, successfully securing a grant of £3,000.
The Members’ Local Charity Grant Scheme allows Royal Warrant-holding companies to nominate local charities for grants of up to £3,000, with the potential for company match-funding to amplify the support.
About the Nomination Process
The nomination process involves:
-
Demonstrating active involvement with the nominated charity.
-
Providing a detailed proposal outlining how the funds will be utilized.
-
Highlighting the charity’s impact within the local community.
hyh’s commitment to assisting young individuals aged 16–17 in securing stable housing and providing essential support services made them an exemplary candidate for this grant.
“We’re incredibly proud to use our Royal Warrant to advocate for such a deserving cause,” said Manish Mandavia (CEO). “The nomination process helps bring local needs to the forefront, and hyh’s impact is both measurable and deeply human.”
Our Ongoing Commitment
Beyond these grants, Lupa Foods is dedicated to a sustained partnership with hyh. Our employees actively engage in fundraising activities, and the company matches these contributions to double the impact. This collaborative effort underscores our commitment to social responsibility and community support.
We are grateful to the Royal Warrant Holders’ Charity for facilitating this opportunity and recognizing the importance of hyh’s mission.
